Obtaining valid API credentials is a mandatory prerequisite to enable seamless e-invoicing and e-way bill generation through Blinkit’s approved integration partner (PWC / Vay Network Services Private Limited). Below is a clear, legally compliant procedure you must follow:
Step 1: Login to the Government E-Invoice Portal
Access the official e-invoice portal at https://einvoice1.gst.gov.in/.
Use your registered GSTIN credentials (username and password) to log in securely.
Step 2: Navigate to API Registration
Once logged in, locate and click on “API Registration” in the main menu.
From the drop-down, select “User Credentials”, then click on “Create API User.”
This initiates the creation process for your API credentials.
Step 3: Complete OTP Verification
You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your GST-registered mobile number.
Enter this OTP to verify your request for API access credentials.
Ensure you enter the OTP within its validity period to avoid session expiry.
Step 4: Select the GSP (GST Suvidha Provider)
In the API user creation form:
- Select “Through GSP” as the method.
- From the list of approved GSPs, choose PWC (Vay Network Services Private Limited) — this is the official integration partner for Blinkit.
This selection ensures your e-invoice and e-way bill data flows securely through Blinkit’s designated network.
Step 5: Create User ID and Password
After selecting the GSP:
- Create a unique User ID (this will be your API username).
- Set a secure Password (follow the password complexity rules shown on the portal).
Record these credentials carefully — they are required to integrate your Blinkit account for automated e-invoicing and e-way bill generation.
Important Compliance Note
- Ensure your GSTIN is active and compliant before initiating API registration.
- Use only the official e-invoice portal; do not share credentials on unofficial channels.
- API credentials must be kept confidential and used strictly for integration purposes with Blinkit’s authorized partner only.
