Refund policy

At theGSTco, your satisfaction and success are our top priorities. We deeply value the trust you place in us and are committed to providing you with the highest level of service and support. Our Refund Policy has been designed to be transparent, fair, and aligned with your needs and concerns.

We understand that navigating GST applications and related services can be complex. Our team is here to assist you at every step, and we are committed to resolving any issues promptly and effectively.


Eligibility for Refund

  • You are eligible for a full refund if your GST registration application is rejected 3 times or more specifically due to documentation issues related to PPOB (Principal Place of Business).

  • For Maharashtra, Assam and Gujarat: Registered Rent Agreement Charges of Rs. 2,000 will be deducted and refunded as they are prepaid to GRAS and Notary Public

  • No refund requests will be entertained for any other reasons unless the application is rejected three times.


Refunds Will Not Be Processed For:

  • APOB rejections due to documentation issues of warehouse 

  • Rejections due to Applicant’s KYC issues.

  • Rejections arising from Applicant’s non-compliance with GST laws (e.g., Biometric Verification failure, Physical Verification failure).

  • Rejections due to Applicant’s APOB (Additional Place of Business) documentation issues.

  • Factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

    • Government Outcome Guarantee: We cannot guarantee the success or outcome of your GST application, as government decisions are independent of our service.

    • Government Delays: Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by government backlogs, platform outages (e.g., GST Portal or Sub-Registrar site downtime), or other administrative issues.

    • Changes in Law: Refunds will not be provided due to delays or additional compliance requirements arising from changes in GST laws (e.g., new Biometric norms, new procedural requirements).


Process for Requesting a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at accounts@thegstco.com with the subject line:
    "Refund Request – [Your Name]".

  2. Include all relevant details, including:

    • Application ID

    • Date of Submission

    • Reason for Refund Request

    • Any Supporting Documentation

  3. Our accounts team will review your request within 7-10 working days and update you accordingly.


Amendments to This Policy

theGSTco reserves the right to amend or update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon being published on our website or communicated to clients via email.


This policy has been created to ensure clarity, fairness, and transparency for all parties. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of this Refund Policy.


Force Majeure

theGSTco shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling its service obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government actions or restrictions, labor disputes, internet or telecommunication failures, system failures, cyber-attacks, or any other unforeseen events that prevent or hinder the execution of services. In such cases, refunds will not be applicable.
